Rather than one single moment, I think the month of March is when I felt most alive. Each weekend I had something going on. Scholar reunion for work; Spazmatics outing with friends; brother's surprise birthday party on a boat with family; Julia's wedding weekend; and Trudy's Trifecta.
Every weekend I was surrounded by people that I absolutely adore: my scholars, my friends, my family (it's not often my mom, 3 brothers and I are all together). I witnessed the wedding of my best friend. I met new people. It snowed in Texas (in March!). And I drank a lot - and not just my usual vodka and cranberry; I started drinking beer!
I had a great time in March. It was definitely the best month I had all year long. And the moments I shared with my loved ones were the best times I've had in awhile. I long for more moments like those.
