Blog Whore

Yes, that's me.

I fully admit to being a blog whore. Yet again, I jumped ship due to my frustrations/boredom with my weebly site. While there are great features, the site wasn't conducive to my needs. Most people use weebly to set up an actual website, whereas I only used it to blog. I originally created it with multiple blogs, but then I decided it was getting to be too much. The simpler the better for me.

I finally finished transferring over all my posts off the old blog. There is no export feature on weebly, so I had to manually do it. It was a painstakingly slow process, that's for sure. But I enjoyed creating photo collages for the entries. If you click on a picture, it will open up to full size in a new screen. I'm bummed that I wasn't able to transfer over the comments from my old blog. So those are a lost cause. Oh - if you want to comment on this blog, you do not have to login, as C-Rat found out the hard way. You can select "Name/URL" and just put in your name...no URL needed.

My page is minimum in design right now, but soon enough it will be snazzy with a custom header and background.

Also, I got rid of sunbug. That was a high school and college username, and I'm way past those stages. If you're reading this blog and know me, there's a high probability that you have heard me refer to myself as "snippy snappy." So I decided what better name for the new blog.

Mmkay, let's hope I stay on this site for awhile. I don't see myself jumping ship again, but you never know. I get bored easily.

  1. haha i don't know how you can jump ship so easily just due to the tediousness of trying to transfer or archive previous posts. this is why i've (sadly) stuck with my same lame host server for nearly 10 years. maybe i'll be brave enough next year to ditch them and go to a better, cheaper server if i can figure out how to not lose so many years of documentation!

  2. Well in the past I just shut down my blogs completely without transferring or archiving my posts. Now I realize how dumb that was. I wish I could get my access back to my wordpress blog. I'm curious as to what I wrote in the past.
