Apologies...

My apologies go out to the few readers that I have. I haven't updated in awhile. I really haven't updated because I didn't think anyone actually read this. I was hoping that my family would peek in every now and then, but they appear not to have any interest. But this weekend Denise mentioned that I hadn't updated. I didn't even know she read this. Lurkers are out there! Come forward, lurkers!

I really don't have much to ramble about. I mean, there are a couple of things but I don't think this bloggy blog is a good place to ramble about those things - A) I don't want to start drama...too old for that crappity crap crap; B) not appropriate to talk about certain things on this blog...don't want to get myself in trouble; C) my rambles require people to give a crap about what I have to say.

So instead of rambling about day-to-day activities, I'm just going to post some random pics:

Ha! In an effort to reach my 20 pound weight loss goal (which is not working out so well), I decided to buy some new running shoes.

I'm in a pink and orange mood lately. I think the shoes are cute, so I wear them all the time. Have I actually gone running in them? - yeah, about that...

I recently moved to a new apartment. I decided to start living more like a grown-up (gah!). One of the the things that I want to do is start buying different servingware pieces. I searched and searched for a collection that I liked and finally came across a site that had just what I wanted. My kitchen colors are red and gold with a bit of green - a Tuscan-like color scheme. My everyday dinner plates are a rich yellow/gold color, so I wanted something that would coordinate well with it. These pieces are perfect. We know that my favorite flower is the sunflower. And the red and gold of the plate goes perfectly with my kitchen. So soon I will purchase a few pieces and then maybe I will invite peep over and serve up some appetizers on the different plates.

To continue with my pink and orange mood, I bought this super cute dress at New York and Company prior to the scholar trip. It is a fabulous dress! I can dress it up with heels or dress it down with sandals. I noticed that the saleslady was wearing the pink version of the dress with a brown belt under the bust. I thought it was super cute, so I bought a wide belt (pic below) and paired it with the dress. My boobies looked fab with the belt! And it's another way to dress it up. I plan on doing double duty with the dress next weekend when I go down to Skidmore for a family friend's wedding, followed by my cousin's high school graduation.

Speaking of the spring trip with the scholars - you give a couple of scholarship coordinators some free time to spend roaming about San Antonio during Fiesta weekend, and this is what happens:

**seriously, who put us in charge?!**

Megan and her bf were in town, so we went downtown. Some dude took our picture for a website - some Austin night scene site. There's really no point to this picture. I just happened to come across the card with the website on it as I was packing and decided to see if he was legit and if our picture was. s'pose so...

BJ and I went to the Orange and White Scrimmage a month ago, and this guy was sitting in front of me. I Felt like I should tell him about the bird poo on the back of his shirt, but instead I thought it would be more fun to take a picture. I'm mean...I know this.

Okay, that's about all the randomness that I have for tonight. I'll try to be better about updating.
