Oh September, how you quickly came and went. The month was a whirlwind of events, most work related as fall is our busiest season.
The absolute best thing about September was the start of the Longhorn football season. This year is my 16th year attending games...and I have a feeling that this year will be a Sweet 16!! There were 3 home games during the month, and luckily the weather wasn't too horrible...except for UTEP. It was miserably hot and the game was boring, so I left at halftime.
A few pics from the games and tailgating before heading to work:

September was also my long awaited date with Britney. I missed her last tour, so Megan and I made sure we had tickets to her show in Dallas. We met up with some girls from our APO days, and headed out to dinner - where, may I add, I felt surrounded by future stars of "Dallas Divas and Daughters." (I really can't stand Dallas.)
But I digress...
We met up with Hector to get a look at his B-Spears inspired costume. It was ridic! Strangers stopped him to get a picture. We missed the opening act by that chick who sings the "hey hey hey, goodbye" song. Jordin Sparks followed. She was spunky. She kinda had a Tina Turner look working for her. I half-expected her to break out with Tina's rendition of "Proud Mary"...complete with Tina's signature dance moves, of course!

Following a creepy introduction from Perez Hilton, the Circus finally began. I have to give major props to B-Spears and her team for carrying out the theme. The opening acts really made it feel like we were sitting inside the Big Top. There was a man who spun a fence thingy with his fingers; a girl who did flips and landed on one of those flimsy beams held up by two men; and a woman with no legs doing all sorts of crazy acrobats on a trampoline.
The concert was a lot of fun. B's dancing left a lot to be desired, but that was to be expected. Her body was looking pretty fierce. She could have done something with her hair; the weave was looking a little nasty.
I leave you with pics:
