So Tired

sorry peeps ~ it was a crazy busy week ~ lots of good news ~ can't announce yet ~ boss retired on Friday ~ sad about not seeing her at work tomorrow (or in the future) ~ had a dinner party on Thursday night ~ 4 hours and 7 courses (with wine pairings) ~ I even ate the veggies! ~ retirement party was on Friday ~ ran around like crazy setting everything up ~ guest was taken away in an ambulance ~ tried to sleep in this weekend but woke up at 7:30 a.m. both days ~ went to Dunkin' Donuts for one donut & left with 1/2 dozen ~ laughed at the lady at the supermarket who kept screaming "BOOYAH!" over the intercom ~ laughed so hard I cried at an unfortunate choice of words while reading a student's scholarship application essay ~ still need to buy ski crap before my trip in 2 weeks ~ had my performance review ~ went well... got a raise ~ Duke won ~ Texas had a great come from behind win against Kansas ~ internet was down all week ~ new modem so hopefully no more intermittent service ~ still exhausted from the week
