Vacation, Here I Come!

Last week my cousin Angel asked me if I wanted to go to Florida with her in March. Her husband is in a band, and there is some sort of all day festival thingy called Locofest near Palm Beach, and they are one of the 25 bands performing. So Angel and I decided to fly down to West Palm Beach and hang out for a few days. I was worried about the money at first because the flights kept increasing in price. But then I remembered my list, and the whole experience isn't about the money - I've been on more expensive trips for fewer days - but rather it's about spending time with Angel. There is a 9 month age difference (she's older); we lived together for awhile when we were younger and were practically sisters growing up - always going on trips together, spending pretty much every day in the summer together. But then I moved to Austin, she got married and had kids, and now we hardly see/talk to each other. So this should be a fun time. 

I'll admit that I'm probably not going to enjoy Locofest - rock music really isn't my thing, nor are motorcycles (it's at the Palm Beach International Raceway). But I think we're only going to be there for a little while on Saturday. We have rented a car to drive along the coast and plan to spend a day in Miami.

I can't wait to be out on the beach, in the sun getting nice and bronzed. March 12-16 - lots of time for fun in the sun!
